Ussually I could connect to the ad hoc servers that we host ourselves so we can have a LAN (Local Area Network ) game. CS, Dota or any other games. However mine started to act strangely. It would connect to the network but it refused to receive any packets. So I can't play at all. sOb SoB SoB...
Well Lady luck was smiling at the other side of me I guess. Manage to use Aiman's laptop to play C.O.D 4. Though we swore on Friday night that we are not gonna play it again for the next few weeks, however words are just words, we ended up playing on Saturday evening and night as well. So much for not playing. xD
A quick conversation over the phone with Zhao Han made me realised, time is running out. February is almost coming to its end, March will come and it will be the time for my A levels trials exam. April is the month where I should hand in my Computing Project (or you can all it my Paper 4 A levels Computing paper) which I haven't started at all. Time is running out. It is of the essence now.
I need to start prioritising and stop playing a fool if I want to pass my A levels with flying colours. 3As man, thats pretty though. Imagine with a BBB you can be accepted to Melbourne Uni (or any group of 8 University) for a course which requires 92% TER.
My time is running out and this chapter of my life is coming to its ending. Whatever comes after this chapter relies on the ending. This reminds me about the poem titled 'The Route Not Taken' .
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Two routes are laid in front of me now and I must make the choice. I guess I have to put my lazyness aside and start 'kiauing' for now. Its just 4 months before freedom. and 3 months more till A levels starts.
Gotta put my study cap on. Its been left rusty for quite some time now.
Till my next post, ciao!
